Hi All
Meeting opened enthusiastically by our President at 18.45 who encouraged us to join next humorous speech and evaluation club contest on Monday 30 August 2010.
Attendance : 15, 14 Members and 1 Guest
GE was DTM Johan
The team was:
Grammarian:TM Jackson, he did very well as third time grammarian
Timer TM Jay, good job as a first timer timer
Ballot Counter, TM Susanna
Ah and Word Counter, TM Henry
Table Topics "Improve in our life" was brought by CC Rini
who picked some quotation and asked the audience to comment on it.
Speakers were:
1 CC Thomas, he explained about big fish in small pond vs small fish in big pond
2 Bachtiar our Guest, he explained how to become leader vs follower, he experience bad leadership so he avoids it when he becomes a leader
3 TM Cindy, she explained about risk taker vs safety player
4 CC Olivia, she explained about innovator vs follower
Prepared Speakers were:
1. TM Valeriya,BM#8-Get comfortable with visual aids (5-7mins) "All you didn't know about Kazakhstan . She spoke amazingly about her country Kazakhstan , and their culture.
2. TM Kardinal,BM#6- Organize your Speech (5-7 mins) " What would I do", He spoke inspiringly about life purpose, how to do your best and don't waste your time.
3. CC Ronny AM#2 Speeches by management-the technical speech (8-10 mins)"How to prepare an Effective Speech" , He spoke about how to finish CC in Toastmaster.

- Appeal from our Club President DTM Johan to participate in our upcoming Humorous speech and evaluation contest next Monday 30 August 2010 at Tamnak Thai, as contestant or contest official (timer, sergeant- at- arms etc).
- Announcement from our Club President to pay the semi-annual dues to the JTC treasurer in cash or transfer.
- Appeal from VP Education to participate in the next regular meeting on Monday 06 Sep 2010.
