I. Prepared Speech Session

1.    BM#1      : Ice Breaker

      Speaker    : TM Chairil Aditya

      Title             : “My Public Speaking Journey”

TM Adit talked about his journey started when he was a kid, who didn’t have any interest of public speaking at that time, because he was naturally a thinker person. His first start to get motivated to learned public speaking skill was when he watched Oprah, because He loves the way Oprah delivered her show to the audiences.  So He tried to learned by his self  through the internet, one of which is TED.com. He learned by following their gesture, voice intonation, and many more. He applied it to the class presentation. Now, He comes to Jakarta Toastmaster, where He believe He could get many benefit to become a good public speaker, especially to control his nervousness in front of public."

2.    BM #2          : Organize your speech

      Speaker         : TM Indah Roesyanto

      Title             : “Save the guardians of the sea”

TM Indah talked about humans are actually more dangerous than sharks, sharks fins have no taste and contain high mercury and we need sharks to balance the ecosystem. We can play our part to save sharks. A simple thing that we can do to stop this. Super easy! Just stop eating shark fins! Yes, the shark that contributed to the product for sale is already dead, but by purchasing shark products, a person creates a demand. More sharks will be fished to replace the items sold. It is our actions that have directly and indirectly contribute to save sharks. We are the only hope. We can still save these amazing creatures for our future generation. Save the sharks means we save the seas. Don’t let our future grandchildren look sharks pictures on history book just like the way we learnt about dinosaurs.

3.    BM #2          : Organize your speech

      Title                   : “Every cloud has a silver lining”

TM Alvin talked about : you should never feel hopeless because difficult times always lead to better days.

4.    AM #5         : Persuasive Speaking: Persuasive Leader

      Speaker          : TM Afdal Rizky, ACB

      Title                   : “I will always love you”

TM Afdal talked about : the power of love that comes from our mom is irreplaceable and it's pure comes from her heart. Everything she said to us is only intended for our goodness in the future. But for the sake of time, especially us , a young person who is prefer to take a decision and thinking it's right over our mom's one. It's only about manner on how good we respond what our mom said and try not to offend her feeling. But that what life is all about. Sometimes we forget from where we were born and how she fought for us to stay alive in this cruel world. But again, with mom's love, our life is safe.

TM Susanna, opened the table topic session with an explanation about what exactly table topic session is and made a joke for everyone.
