TM Barbara opened a
table topic session by twisting it into a debate challenges. The participant
consist of 6 person, which divided into 2 groups (each group consist of 3
participants). After that, TM Barbara gave a question and one of the group must
give their opinion about it and the other group must give an argument from the
other groups opinion.

TM Priyanka speech
is about her confusion of why people often spell her name wrongly, from
“Bianca”, “Pinka”, “Binca” or anything else. In order to make people remember
her name, she confesses about her personality and interest from others: she is
vegetarian, she loves reading, she graduated from Monash University, Malaysia.
By telling her confession, people will not get confuse of remembering her name
and.

Mindset
TM Tedy talked
about the important of safety mindset when we are facing an unexpected
disaster, in his example is about how to deal with fire on a stove. He explains
about the 3 elements in the fire, there is oxygen, fuel, and heat (it’s called
the triangle element of fire). When you see a burning stove, the first thing to
do is to use wet blanket to cover the stove and switch off the stove. Make sure
the wet blanket cover perfectly on the burning stove to cut the “triangle
element of fire”. If the fire getting worst, while looking at the emergency
door, crawl under the smoke, because the fresh air is flow beneath the smokes.
Before the accident happened, always remember where the emergency door is and
don’t use an elevator to escape.

There
is no meeting on Monday July 7th, 2014 because we are going to have a
briefing and rehearsal session for the committee and the contestants of
“Humorous Speech and Speech Evaluation Contest”. The contest will be conducted on
Monday July 14th, 2014.
