TM Martha Trisan talked about the
benefits of sports in life. It can help people be healthy and fit. It can aid
personal development through social and leadership experiences. It can help
reduce diseases such as obesity, heart diseases and diabetes. Lastly, it can
help improve mental and physical health

Speech Title: "Me vs
Internet of Thing: Ride or Sink on The Wave"
TM Lunardi Ramli talked about the
change of era into the digital information era and the impact of internet, and
social media in particular, on all aspects of life. It has affected types of
professions to types of marketing. He ended his speech highlighting that the
change in era is a potential leverage and encourages the audience to explore
the new world and ride the wave,

3. Basic Manual #3: Get To
The Point
Speaker: TM Roro Wide
Speech Title: "Detecting
Deception"
TM Roro Wide talked about lies
and how to detect it in daily live. She highlighted 2 main methods: verbal and
non-verbal. Verbal lies, usually in writing, can be detected by looking at the
unusual details. Non-verbal lies can be detected by looking at the changes in
micro-expression. She emphasized that the lie detection methods can be useful
not only for occupations surrounding law, but also business and recruitment,
and encourages us that detecting lies is a learnable skill.

Speaker: Ivan Nurhadijaya Rachmat,
CC, ALB
Speech Title: "The Pillars
of a Story"
TM Ivan Rachmat talked about
stories and story telling during his edu speech. He highlighted 4 pillars of a
story: people, place, purpose, and plot. People referred to characters the
audience can connect with. Place is the setting of the story. Purpose denotes
to the meaning or message that wants to be conveyed. The Plot can be used to
create the Question or Conflict that would keep the audience engaged. He showed
that story telling should be done with this structure: hook, ask, acceptance,
hurdle, answer, and jab. TM Ivan ended his edu speech highlight the power of
stories in getting messages across.
