Speech Title: "Childhood Playground"
TM Marsel talked about his childhood
playground that was surrounded by nature and opportunity to be creative and
productive. He also have a father who is supportive to be creative by
giving him toys like Lego.
This has allowed him to nurture the Engineer within himself.

Speech Title: "Cyber Culture"
TM Difa talked about the use of the internet. It has brought us to something that we know
as cyber cultural age. This culture that has emerged the use of computer
networks for communications, entertainment and business enable us to do many
things in simple, creative yet innovative way. However, we should be wiser and
smarter when living in this cyber culture age and we need to be more selective.
Because this culture is good for us only if it improves our life, not become our life. Be wise and smart,
because a better future starts from us.

3. Basic Manual # 5: Your Body Speaks
Speaker: TM Ramasdin Saragih
Speech Title: "Change of Plans"
TM Ramasdin talked about things that happened unexpected
in his life that makes him changes he’s plans. From the 2 hours delayed plane, to his
dream of becoming a doctor.
He decided that he
had to be a doctor, so that he could treat his Dad, it was his dream. But he was not
accepted in Medical school, and going
to Private university was impossible for him at that time, so he
went to faculty of animal science instead.
After working for 2 years in a poultry farm he lost his job because the farm was
collapsed. Then he tried to
remember, his dream in becoming a doctor so he tried to find a job in Pharmaceutical company as a marketing
staff and he was accepted.
Now he wants to move forward, So he tried to improve his communication skills by joining Toastmaster,
reading books and talking to many friends.
In life, some plans may go well,
but some others may not, you
can change your plans more and more, but you have to follow your passion in
pursuing your goal.

Edu Speech Session
Speaker: Imung Hikmah, ACB, CL
Speech Title: "The Art of Story Telling : Crafting Tall Tales Speech"
TM Imung shared about what a Tall Tales Speech is. Like every
speech, the speaker should sees it like an oinion, where they have to peel it
one by one to reveal all layer of the story to yhe audience. The important thing tall tales speech should
have is a lot of exaggerations in the event that occures. She shows Tall Tales have plenty of examples in
Indonesia such as Indonesian legends or folklores which has a lot of mystical
element in it. She told the speech techniques that required to do the tall
tales are exaggerations, irony,pun, surprise, twist, humor, and slapstick. She
also add the physical appearence like a costumes property and body language
that could support the story.
