I. Prepared Speech Session

1.       BM#5          : Your Body Speaks
          Speaker      : TM Silvia Novia (from British TMC)
          Title            : “The Time”

  



TM Silvia speech tells about the struggles of her Mom in curing her illness. She had told her Mom to go to the doctor, but her Mom refused to take any kind of surgery. After she asked to the doctor when her Mom will get healed, the Doctor replied “Only time can tell”. The moral of the story is that time is always speaking for your action, and time never moves backward. If you want something had to do, do it now.

2.       BM#5          : Your Body Speaks
          Speaker      : TM Arya Adhiwijna (From Motivators TMC)
          Title            : “Crazy Little Things Called Love



TM Arya speech tells about his experience in approaching the girl that he loves. He was having a close relationship with a girl but he always failed to keep the bond. He even learned from one of the “Love guru” but then he failed to build up a relationship again. But from that experience, TM Arya motivates us that no matter how many mistakes that we have done, we should keep going and never give up in finding someone we love.

3.       BM#8          : Get Comfortable With Visual Aids
          Speaker      : TM Antonius Koko Wijanarko
          Title            : “Lost in Translation


TM Koko speech tells about how translating language can give a different meaning if we told to other people. He pointed that translating other language is very important in sharing our knowledge and understanding to others, but we must be careful in translating it, because a wrong translation will lead to a wrong definition.

4.       BM#10         : Inspired Your Audience
          Speaker      : TM Rahmat Hidayat
          Title            : “Dream Journey”

TM Mato speech tells about how our dreams can be shattered not even by ourselves but also by people around us. He shared his own experience when he had a dream to become an artist, but suddenly his dream was shattered because he was surrounded by negative people around him. He also claimed that since life is full of ups and downs, sometimes we want to stay away from our dreams just because we are in a breakdown situation in our life. He encourage us to keep chasing our dream no matter how many people say that it is impossible to achieve, because we are a different person, and we are keep going forward.

TM Mato received his “Competent Communicator” title and awards for his achievement in completing all the projects in Competent Communicator Basic Manual. Congratulation TM Rahmat Hidayat, CC!


5.       High Performance Leadership
          Speaker      : ACL, ALB, Susanna Jahja
          Title            : “Transform the Performers Project”


TM Susan delivers a speech about how to achieve a maximum performance in learning communication and leadership skill in Toastmaster.  Three things that we need in Toastmaster: We need a support, Speakers mindset and international competition inquiry on originality. She also share the vision and mission of achieving that goal, one of which is to share what we learned in Toastmaster to other people, so they will motivated in learning to become a great public speaker and a great leader.

The participants for the table topics session are in group. There are:

III. Hall Of Fame
TM Novi presented the winning trophy which goes to:

IV. Our next meeting will be on Monday, December 8th 2014

On the next meeting, we will have a joint meeting with Essential Toastmaster Club and Innovators Toastmaster Club on Monday December 8th in PBTaxand Auditorium at 7PM onwards.



We would like to give our appreciation and gratitude to all of the committee from British Toastmaster Club and Motivators Toastmaster Club who make this joint meeting conducted, especially to our TOM and GE who arrange the meeting and role position, our VPE, our VPM, our SAA and all the speakers and role takers who have arrange the meeting and make it run smoothly.

We also would like to give our appreciation and gratitude to all of the members and guests who has spent their time to come and participate in the meeting.

Last but not least, we would like to extend our gratitude to PBTaxand for allowing us to use the auditorium and other facilities so we can conduct the meeting.
