Speaker : TM Sri Mirani
Title :
“Generation Gap”
TM Rani said that we always talk
about generation gap. And somehow, many people think that this generation gaps
could lead to some conflicts rather than synergy, especially at work. Now
mainly consist of three generations. First, The Baby Boomers generation,
Second, The Gen-X or Generation X, and the third, The Gen-Y or The Millennial. TM
Rani said she was a Gen-Ywhich she described as optimistic, energetic,
technology savy, and a quick learner. But she also believes that she was like
the baby boomer generation because she isn’t a technology savy and likes money
too.

She told that most of the chevening awardee have became great leaders in their
country, one of the example is Tito Karnavian, National Police Chief of The
Indonesian Republic. Theresa also inspires all the audience to apply to get the

Speaker : TM Fhardian Putra
Title :
“Memorable Trip”
TM Putra told about 8 young men who had a
trip to Bali. They promised to help each others during the trip with jargon
"one for all, all for one". But 20 minutes after shouted their
jargon, 3 of them got a problem and unluckily no one helped them. They had to
move from one wagon to another wagon in a very crowded train. First he thought
this trip was a total disaster but now when he looked back to that trip, he
missed the trip so much, because through that trip he knows his friends better
and they learned how to solve conflicting ideas into a win-win solution.

Putra was evaluated by Yusuf Chandra,

Vocal Variety
Speaker : TM Ramasdin Saragih
Title :
“Parents Need Love”
TM Ramasdin told about his story when he was
hospitalized because he had a fever and pharyngitis (inflammation of the
pharynx). He was treated in the same room with an old man. He was totally
paralyzed, had to spend all his time flat on his back lying on the hospital bed
and nobody accompanied him. While in the room they shared each other
experiences. The old man’s experience has thought Ramasdin valuable lessons. It
had thought him the importance of family, money is not everything, we need love
and people who are caring for us. Teach your children good conduct and to love
their parents. So one day when they are old, there will be someone caring for
you
Love your parents, so you will be loved by
your next generations.
