TM on TV: proposal
Dear Communicators,
Qtv and Toastmasters are piloting a project to bring Toastmasters to television. Qtv's policy is to dedicate 30% of its airtime to social causes and considers the Toastmasters program a great social cause. To improve communicating skills and leadership qualities for everyone and anyone.
Qtv will give free airtime, they are interested in producing a 30 min talkshow for an episode. Planning to produce a whole season of 13 episodes.
Qtv will provide free airtime and assistance in producing the program. The material of what will be in the program will come from the Toastmasters program. The problem is the actual production of this program will be at a cost. A very minimum cost of Rp.5jt. Additional finances raised will be put back in to causes to promote Toastmasters activities. such as ;conventions, opening of clubs, mentoring and sending of participants to contests.
We are providing advertising slots for sale, these adverts slots will be shown during the commercial breaks to cover production costs. This program will be promoted on other medias, for example radio and newspaper. Further details will be provided in the attachment i am sending with this e-mail.
We need help in two sectors;
1. Would your company be interested in sponsoring such a program? if you think they are, please send me the contact person of who is in charge and I will send a full draft of the proposal with a cover letter to you or the cp.
2. Would you or your club like to be on Tv? Or do you have any events of your club coming up? like birthday or theme meeting?
If so please contact Patar or Rinaldi, their contact details are in the attachment, please have a look at it, thanks.
