Back to another JTC meeting!

We had a little bit different meeting last night. We used different meeting venue which was took place at Bale Ase Arjuno Room, Merchantile Athletic Club, 18th Floor, WTC 1 Tower, jl. Sudirman Kav. 29-31.


TM Anne Aprina as our ToM led the meeting in a little bit unusual theme 'Andragogy', which means : the method and practice of teaching adult learners; adult education. We had a wonderful night, especially there was Educational sesion by TM Imung Hikmah ACB, CL.

Speech title: A Joke is not just a Joke

Last night she talked about jokes on her BM#4 : How to say it. Joke is not just a joke, it is powerful and could hurt people. Please be careful with ur jokes and evaluate your jokes whether it is hurt people or not, because the effect of your jokes could be massive for some people.

On project AM#1: StoryTelling-The Folk Tale, TM Herman delivered a story about Princess Junjung Buih.

Princess Junjung Buih is a folktale from South Borneo. It was a story of a King who beseech for a child from God. After years, finally God granted his wishes and gave him a beautiful baby girl through a magical way. The baby was floating on a foamy river and only by sent 40 women and provided a new sheet which was weaved in a half-day, the King able to pick the baby up from the foamy river. The King named the baby as Princess Junjung Buih.

This is the most anticipated speech of the day!
It is all about home, love, and growth. We all go through our own journey in JTC, we create our remarkable memories with extraordinary feelings and until we unconsciously perceive it as our home that we fill with love, that makes us grow to be a better person.  It is all about how we feel home at JTC, how to love JTC,what can we do to grow ourselves and in the same time to grow JTC.

 We had all the fun while writing on sticky notes for what we feel about Jakarta Toastmasters Club!
