Speak Up! - September 18, 2017

Holaa fellow Toastmasters!

Back to the meeting again! Our ToM for tonight, the famous TM Richie Jimmy Walia guided us all to spent an enjoyable night with theme meeting : Speak Up. As usual, there will be three speech session, prepared speech, table topics and evaluation session.

Speech title :  Happy Times

In BM#8: Get Comfortable with Visual Aids, TM Budi talked all about happiness. The happiness of a person may have an impact on the happiness of others. Happiness is infectious, so we need to infect other people with happines! The closer you're to someone whose happy, the happier you'll be.

TM Imam Khumaeni
Speech title :  A journey to the future

TM Imam Khumaeni started his pathway journey in Toastmasters. To enhance his carrier, he has to learn about project management. After he got project management professional certification, he realized that the most important key of project success is communication. So, he has to improve my communication skill. And the best place to make it happen is Jakarta Toastmaster club.

TM Abdul Manap Pulungan
Speech title : "Why we are here!"

 BM#7 : Research Your Topic, he talked about how public speaking can affect our own career.
Public speaking is the best way to boost self- confident. It also highly contribute in our career, but many people afraid to speak in public. That is why we are here, in Toastmasters.

Speech title: "The Toastmasters Way"

Toastmaster Agus finally gain his CC title after 6 years in Jakarta Toastmasters Club, by giving his speech The Toastmasters Way, project BM#10:Inspire your Audience. In his speech, TM Agus teach us that although we are participating in contest with our public-speaking skill, we should stick to the Toastmaster Manual, since the manual is built to develop the member of Toastmasters club. TM Agus also put more credibility of the Toastmaster Manual by informed us that the first Toastmasters Meeting was held in 1902, and the manual has been developing ever since.

He presented an enchanting monodrama, the speaker portrays a single character. the foal is bringing the character into life through gestures, voice and manner.

AM#2: The Interview Show was new for her and also for the jtc friends to see a communicating video manual. She had to be a guest in a talk show that I created, picked the host and pretended to be a real tv show. The talk show is all about sharing her experience about writing a book
