Welcome to Jakarta Toastmasters Meeting again!
Literary. Which means concerning the writing, study, or content of literature, especially of the kind valued for quality of form. In this meeting, TOM would like to ask everyone to bring one or more of their books, as we were going to have a “tiny workshop” on “books and me”. If attendees want to bring their digital book, the cover printout can represent enough.

Speaker 1.Yulianti SuharlinPath 1 Project 2 Speech on certain topic
Speech title: Fear of Change
Objective: The purpose of this project is to present a speech on any topic, receive feedback, and apply the feedback to a second speech. TM Yulianti brought a speech with the topic about change. Sometimes change scared people out. But this is the only consistency that happens in every people's lives. And we must face it.

AM Impromptu speech
Speech title: Vacant
Objective: The purpose of this project is for the member to present a speech on any topic, receive feedback, and apply the feedback to a second speech. TM Thomas nailed his impromptu speech in 7 minutes.

Path 1 Project 5:Researching and Presenting
Speech title: Kids and smartphone
Objective: The purpose of this project is for the member to learn or review basic research methods and present a wellorganized, well-researched speech on any topic. TM Devi brought an interesting debate about the usage of smartphone for kids.

AM1:Persuasive Speaking Project 1:The effective Sales Person
Speech title: "Sell yourself"
Objectives:
-Learn a technique for selling an inexpensive product in a retail store
-Recognize a buyer's thought process in making a purchase
- Elicit information from a prospective buyer through questions
-Match the buyer's situation with the most appropriate product

Speech title: Victim of Assumptions
Objectives:
- prepare a serious speech that opens and closes with humorous stories
- prepare a closing story that reemphasises the speech's main point
- deliver the stories smoothly and effectively
